Green Design

Below are a few options to incorporate green design into your home. There are many more to consider so check back for future updates.

Water Storage

Rainwater collection can help save the environment and your pocket book. Whether you need 100% collection for the entire home, or partial collection for watering lawns and outdoor plants, rain water collection is a simple and cost efficient way for you to help protect the environment.
Rainwater is also, the cleanest, softest, purest water you've ever had! Rainwater is free of mineral deposits and chemicals. It never passes through a chemical treatment plant, nor does it have to filter through the ground where well water collects its mineral deposits.

Grey H2O Tanks

Grey water is another way to help preserve water. By simply catching water from showers, bathroom sinks, washing machines and dishwashers, you can store enough water to keep your lawn green and lush even during a drought! Grey water, although not safe for drinking, is safe for all outside plants and lawns. No filters are required.

Water Filtration System

Rainwater is filtered naturally by using Micron filters that trap small particles. After passing through the Micron filters, the water is run through a UV filter that "zaps" any bacteria, molds or fungi that may still be in the water. UV filters are simply a UV light that is in a Metal housing. No chemicals, no chlorine, just pure filter rainwater!

BioBased Foam Insulation

Foam Insulation (featuring BioBased 501 Soy Foam)

A renewable resource, BioBased Foam Insulation helps to keep clean air in and dirty air out. By filling voids in all exterior walls and roof rafters, the exterior structure of your house is free of incoming humidity and heat. Air quality is increased by reducing molds and bacteria as well as maintaining a more consistent temperature throughout the home for longer periods of time.
